The project involved a complete renovation of an existing building, converting it from its previous use as a sanctuary / meeting building to an activity center / reception area / kitchen / day care/ food pantry and public use building. The project included the addition of approximately 900 square feet of new building space. TCE complied with City of Austin permitting by removing existing sidewalk impervious cover to balance impervious cover.
This project incorporated a rainwater retention/ irrigation system that was the first design in the city of Austin to use a complete gravity overland flow irrigation system. The project included construction of new ADA sidewalk building entrances.
Services Provided:
Drainage analyses and calculations pursuant to COA drainage criteria in association with master planning, COA permitting over Edwards Aquifer in the Barton Springs Zone, heritage tree protection, site development permitting, building permitting assistance, design coordination, cost estimates, tree survey and topographic survey.
